The Texas Longhorns are contending with several injuries to key players as they advance in the College Football Playoff. Notably, starting right tackle Cameron Williams is dealing with a right knee sprain and is uncertain to play in the upcoming game against Arizona State. In the previous matchup against Clemson, Williams exited the game due to a lower-body injury, and redshirt freshman Trevor Goosby filled in at right tackle.

Additionally, center Jake Majors sustained an injury during the Clemson game but was available to return. Running back Quintrevion Wisner also suffered an injury in the same game; however, he was cleared to return to play.
