A new right-back could be on the horizon for Farke’s squad, with no plans for Connor Roberts to return. Football journalist Mike McGrath reports that Leeds are poised to make a move for Sheffield United right-back Jayden Bogle to address long-standing issues on that flank.

Last season, Archie Gray often filled in at right-back, but with the young talent now at Tottenham Hotspur, Farke’s team is keen to secure a permanent solution. However, acquiring Bogle might not be straightforward. Journalist Alan Nixon notes that the recently relegated Sheffield United are demanding £7m for the player, a sum Leeds are currently reluctant to meet.

Despite this obstacle, Leeds, aiming for promotion, might still pursue Bogle.

JournalistGraham Smyth has also indicated that a move for Roberts is unlikely, further intensifying Leeds’ search for a right-back. The 23-year-old Bogle is seen as a potential upgrade, considering his performance in the 2023/24 season.
