Leicester City Might Sell Player with Market Value higher than Soule’s – FOXES reportedly signed the 21-year old in a Record breaking Deal just ONE year ago from Native Club

Leicester City swiftly returned to the Premier League last season, avoiding late heartbreaks and securing the Championship title after a demanding 46-game season. Enzo Maresca, who led this successful promotion campaign, has since departed, passing the reins to Steve Cooper to stabilize the team in their Premier League comeback.

Cooper has begun reinforcing the squad with new signings, including the potential addition of Matias Soule. However, he also faces tough decisions about players he may need to offload during the off-season.

One such player is Victor Kristiansen, who was signed for a record £17m from FC Copenhagen in 2023, a sum unprecedented for a player from the Danish Superliga. Despite the hefty investment, Kristiansen struggled to settle into English football and was loaned to Bologna after Leicester’s relegation.

While there were rumors of Bologna seeking a deal, Kristiansen has returned to Leicester’s training grounds after representing Denmark in the Euros. With only 14 appearances for Leicester, his future at the club seems uncertain despite early promise in the Premier League.

Now valued at £29.4m, according to Football Transfers, Kristiansen represents a significant asset for Leicester. Capitalizing on his current high market value could be a strategic move for Cooper and Leicester, given the player’s limited impact on the team’s recent performances.

Therefore, it appears logical for all parties involved to consider transferring Kristiansen now to maximize his current market value before it potentially declines.
